About

Contemporary Art Stavanger consists of an online art journal as well as a physical residency program for critics, writers and researchers. Through our work, we aim to contribute meaningful conversation relevant to the Stavanger region’s art scene, while at the same time connecting the content to a larger national and international discourse – we therefore publish in both Norwegian and English. In addition to reviews, essays, and interviews, we explore the expansive possibilities of CAS’ online platform and investigate different ways of working with writers, residencies, and the format of art writing and criticism. We at CAS are dedicated to presenting a wide range of perspectives, voices, and subject matter. Read more

Submissions for artists – Public Art Commission in Karlskrona

November 15, 2016 Deadline

About

Apply now! Invitation to Submit an Expression of Interest for a Public Art Commission in the new district Pottholmen in Karlskrona. We are finally ready with the procurement of this art commission and happy to annouce it.

The municipality of Karlskrona invite professional artists to submit their expression of interest in a sketch assignment for a site specific public art work in the new district of Pottholmen in Karlskrona.

Pottholmen is the largest urban regeneration project in Karlskrona since the 1960s. The commission is to propose a permanent public art project for the new Promenade by the Sea, with a view over the archipelago and the World Heritage City. A jury/an art reference group selects three artists who each receive a commission to sketch a proposal. After the sketch presentation by the three artists, the reference group will select one of the artists to produce the public artwork.

Deadline to submit an expression of interest is 2016-11-15.

All documents necessary to download are on the Swedish procurement page of Visma Opic.

It will turn up on the website of public procurements in all European countries too.

Even though all information on the first page is in Swedish on the Visma Opic-page, the log in information will turn up in English and documents to download are in English.

You have to register on Opic to be able to get all updates of the procurement.
