HAPPY SUMMER HOLIDAYS!

Contemporary Art Stavanger (CAS) wishes you a wonderful summer holiday! As usual, we’ll be taking July off to enjoy the warm weather and plan for this coming fall. While we’re away, be sure to enjoy some summer reading and meet the 2017 CAS Residents in Art Writing. And as always, remember to update the CAS Calendar with upcoming local events, and follow us on social media. We wish everyone a great summer and look forward to an exciting autumn season in Stavanger!

Catch up on some reading this summer! We suggest our recently published conversation about documenta14 in Athens, a free-form watercolor interview with 2016 CAS resident Mathias Kryger and artist Anne Ihle, essay Hell is Other People by Natasha Marie Llorens, and a review of the exhibition Kitty Kielland; Open Air.

We are thrilled to welcome Rachael Rakes and Julie Niemi as the 2017 CAS Residents in Art Writing. Throughout the summer and autumn season, they will be visiting Stavanger, attending studio visits, presenting their practices, and of course writing! Look forward to their forthcoming articles on CAS in the coming months.
